558 photographers from 43 different countries took part.
A total of 4,500 photos were submitted across six categories:
- Bird Portrait
- The Bird in its Environment
- The Bird and its Behavior
- Birds in Flight
- Artistic Vision of the Bird
- Other Winged Species
In December, the five Jury members reviewed all submissions and made their individual pre-selections through an online platform.
706 photos were shortlisted for the final phase, which took place in person in Abbeville on January 23–24.
The award-winning photos, along with an additional selection curated by the Jury, were exhibited in Le Crotoy from April 12 to 20, 2025, during the 34th Festival of Birds and Nature.
1,786 visitors discovered nearly 150 images and voted to award the Audience Prize of the edition
